Well, I must say that Drowsy Chaperone that played in San Francisco is one of the funniest musical I have seen in a long time. I went with my aunt Karen and I had a blast at the show.
The show is about a musical called Drowsy Chaperone, which played on the Broadway in the 20’s. The main character is man in New York who comments about the original show to the audience while “playing” his record of the show. The script was witty along with phenomenal acting, singing and dancing.
The comic relief timing was impeccable. If you see the picture at the bottom, you will see a familiar face on the right. She’s Georgia Engle, who has been on several TV shows, including The Mary Tyler Moore show. She was rather a weak singer but it did not distract from the overall show. I would recommend it highly.
